I'm thinking of adding some kind of check that increases a thread's value depending on how old it is. So older threads get to be worth up to 50 points or something like that.

what about a similar image program? so that if an image is uploaded it can be compared in the database to see if someone has already done that image.

I've thought about that too, but it's very server intensive. I'm going to do some tests to see how well the server handles it. I'm also working on checking the URL for previous requests to avoid dupes.
